Illness and Life

So I'm sick right now, and it kind of sucks... but I'm looking forward to Christmas break! I get to see my grandma and Matt, who both live in Wisconsin, so that's definately exciting. I might even get to see snow! Muahaha.

Well, I was going to make this a slightly longer post, but my head's starting to hurt and confusion is setting in. SO I'm going to go eat some soup and listen to music... then finish my hw.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Calvin Acceptance

Dear Shiloh:
Congratulations!!
The Committee on Admissions has approved your admission to Calvin College for 2007 fall semester!
Thank you for the thought and energy you put into your application. Please know that your time was well spent! We appreciated getting to know you through your application materials and are eager to have you join us at Calvin.
Your accomplishments during high school are impressive, Shiloh. You are well prepared to step into the Calvin community! You have clearly contributed a great deal through your involvemnet in Kingdom Causes, Facing Your Future, and Invisible Children. It is evident that you are serious about your life in Christ. As you share your faith and talents at Calvin, you may wish to explore the Social Justice Committee. We hope that you will find this college community to be an exciting place of learning and growing.
Your college years will set the course of your life in many ways. At Calvin, you will receive an education that will open your mind while enriching it, strengthen your faith while stretching it, and affirm your individual gifts while honing them for worthwhile use. You will be challenged to consider all things, because when you go out to serve in God's world, you need to understand how the world works and how your gifts can be of use. Through your Calvin experience you will make significant contributions in the lives of those around you and bring renewal to the world in which we live.
Over the next few months you will receive more detailed communications about becoming a Calvin student- information about Passport and Quest (Calvin's summer and fall orientation programs); Prelude (Calvin's first-year course_; academic advising, course registration, and KnightVision (our on-line community). A college catalog is being sent to you under a seperate cover and is also available at www.calvin.edu.

There is so much more ahead for you, Shiloh! Students of your ability find many opportunities at Calvin. We look forward to the ways in which your tallents will enrich this community.

Yeah. I got in.
:D
I'm so freaking excited.

Yes, I have converted to Blogspot

While this does NOT mean I will be leaving Facebook or Myspace, it does mean I'll probably be posting on here. Woohoo. I hope I don't get addicted, but I probably will.

Waking Ashland concert tonight. I'm super duper excited. And they're playing with Lydia and Forgive Durden and someone else. They're all really good bands, especially Waking Ashland. I'm sure I'll post pictures later. Hooray!

That is all for now. Take care!
